3. User Conduct
Users of MegaChat.in agree to behave respectfully and responsibly while using the platform. The following conduct is strictly prohibited and may result in a temporary or permanent ban:

4. Privacy and Anonymity
MegaChat.in values your privacy. We do not require users to create accounts, share phone numbers, or reveal personal details to access our platform. You can use a nickname and chat anonymously.
We do not collect personal data beyond what is necessary for basic site functionality. Any information voluntarily shared by users is at their own risk. We strongly advise users not to disclose sensitive or private information on public or private chatrooms.
We do not store chat history permanently. Any misuse of personal information by other users should be reported to us immediately.
5. Chatroom Moderation
MegaChat.in employs both automated and human moderation systems to ensure that chatrooms remain respectful and enjoyable. Moderators have full authority to warn, mute, kick, or ban users who violate our rules.
We do not tolerate abuse of our moderators or staff. Their decisions are final. If you feel you have been treated unfairly, you may contact us via the provided support channels.
6. Content and Responsibility
All content posted by users—including text, links, and nicknames—are the sole responsibility of the person who created them. MegaChat.in does not take responsibility for user-generated content.
We do not monitor every chat message in real time, and as such, we cannot guarantee that all content will be appropriate.
You are responsible for your own behavior, and by using MegaChat.in, you agree to indemnify us against any claims or damages arising from your actions on the platform.
7. External Links and Third-Party Content
Chatroom users may share links to external websites or content. MegaChat.in does not control or verify the content of external links, and we are not responsible for any harm caused by visiting third-party websites.
Users should exercise caution and avoid clicking suspicious or unknown links. If you encounter malicious links or phishing attempts, please report them to our team immediately.
8. Platform Access and Availability
We work hard to keep MegaChat.in available 24/7, but we cannot guarantee continuous or uninterrupted access. From time to time, we may perform maintenance, updates, or encounter unexpected downtime.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the site without notice. We are not liable for any loss of access or data due to technical or unforeseen circumstances.
9. Intellectual Property
All website content, including text, logo, branding, and layout, is the intellectual property of MegaChat.in unless otherwise stated. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, or distribute our site content without prior written permission.
However, user-generated content within chatrooms is owned by the users, and they are responsible for any copyright or trademark violations they may cause.
10. Account and Nickname Use
You do not need an account to use MegaChat.in, but you may choose to use the same nickname regularly. Note that we do not provide ownership or protection for nicknames unless registered on an external IRC network with appropriate authentication.
If a nickname is used to mislead, impersonate, or harass others, it may be blocked or restricted.
11. Termination of Use
MegaChat.in reserves the right to restrict, suspend, or permanently terminate access to any user who violates our terms. We may take this action without prior warning if the offense is serious or repeated.
Users who are banned should not attempt to rejoin using different identities or IPs. Doing so may result in further blocking.
12. Indemnity and Liability Limitation
By using MegaChat.in, you agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the site, its administrators, and its partners from any claims, damages, or expenses arising out of your use or misuse of the platform.
